Maharashtra Government Rolls Out Vayoshree Yojana To Support Elderly With Disabilities
The Maharashtra government is actively working to enhance the lives of its residents. Recently, it announced the implementation of the Chief Minister's 'Vayoshree Yojana' aimed at supporting senior citizens. This scheme is designed to assist nearly 15 lakh elderly individuals who suffer from physical or mental disabilities.
Under the 'Chief Minister's Vayoshree Yojana,' eligible senior citizens aged 65 years or older will receive financial assistance. The scheme provides Rs 3,000 to each qualifying individual, offering essential support to society's weaker members.
