Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC: April Installment Update, 70 Lakh Maharashtra Women Removed From Beneficiary List

Eligible women under the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana in Maharashtra are facing growing confusion regarding the April installment of the scheme, after many beneficiaries reportedly received SMS alerts stating that ₹1,500 had been credited to their bank accounts. However, the Maharashtra government has not yet issued any official confirmation regarding the payment release, leaving the overall situation unclear.

Latest Update On Ladki Bahin Yojana April Installment And ₹1,500 Transfer

According to reports, a large number of women beneficiaries received SMS alerts on May 14 informing them that ₹1,500 had been transferred to their accounts. This has led to speculation that the April installment payment process has begun. However, Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare has not yet made any official announcement regarding the development.

Meanwhile, several beneficiaries remain uncertain about whether the April installment will be credited to all eligible women. The March installment had already been transferred earlier. But with half of May already over and no official clarification yet on the April payout, confusion and concern among beneficiaries continue to increase.

eKYC Requirement, Portal Link Removal And 70 Lakh Names Removed From Scheme

Following complaints regarding irregularities in the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana in Maharashtra, the government had made eKYC mandatory for beneficiaries. The last date to complete the process was fixed as April 30.

An eKYC link was earlier provided on the scheme's official portal, but after the deadline ended, the link was removed from the website.

According to government data, nearly 70 lakh women failed to complete eKYC by April 30. Due to non-completion of the mandatory process within the deadline, the names of these beneficiaries were removed from the Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiary list. Their April installments have currently been withheld, leaving a large number of women excluded from the scheme benefits.

If any beneficiary's name has been removed from the Ladki Bahin Yojana list, the online correction facility is currently unavailable. In such cases, beneficiaries can visit the nearest Women and Child Development Department office to file complaints or seek assistance.

Women who continue to fulfil the eligibility criteria can also contact officials or helpline services with the required documents for further support.
