Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the highly-anticipated 17th season of his reality show, Bigg Boss. The show is scheduled for a grand premiere on Sunday, October 15. As the date draws near, new participants have been revealed, generating increased excitement for this controversial reality program. Recent reports suggest that Jigna Vora and Mannara Chopra may make appearances on the show.

According to reports, actor Ankita Lokhande, accompanied by her husband Vicky Jain, and the renowned writer and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui may also join the show's cast.

For the unversed, Jigna Vora is a former crime reporter who faced incarceration due to her alleged involvement in the murder of senior journalist J Dey. Her experiences during this period were chronicled in her autobiographical memoir, 'Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison.' This memoir was later adapted into a web series for Netflix by filmmaker Hansal Mehta, featuring Karishma Tanna in the lead role.

On the other hand, Mannara Chopra, a cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra and an actress herself, is also speculated to appear on 'Bigg Boss 17'. She made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Zid' and gained recent attention when the director of her upcoming movie, 'Thiragabadara Saami,' allegedly kissed her during a promotional event.

Manasavi Mamgai, former Miss India, is another expected participant. She recently shared screen time with Kajol in the movie 'The Trial.'

Apart from these contestants, the show will also feature couples Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, and television actors Isha Malviya and Abhishek Kumar.
