Ganesh Festival Travel 2025: Ro-Ro Registration Deadline Extended by Konkan Railway – Full Details Inside

Konkan Railway has announced that if the number of registrations for any notified Ro-Ro trip is insufficient, registered passengers will be informed on the registration closing date, which is three days before the journey. In such cases, the service will be cancelled, and the registration fees paid will be fully refunded.

Continuing its focus on innovative and customer-friendly services, Konkan Railway's Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) car transport service has received strong positive feedback from passengers. Responding to requests for more flexibility during Ganesh Festival 2025, the railway has extended the registration deadline for the first Ro-Ro service from Kolad on 23rd August 2025 to 22nd August 2025.

Three-Day Registration Cut-Off for Ro-Ro Services

For all subsequent notified Ro-Ro trips scheduled between 24th August 2025 and 11th September 2025, registrations will be accepted up to three days prior to the journey, until 5:00 pm (excluding the journey date). For example, for a service scheduled on 1st September 2025, the registration will close on 28th August 2025 at 17:00 hrs.

If any trip does not receive adequate registrations, registered passengers will be notified on the registration closing date, three days before the journey. In such cases, the service will be cancelled, and the registration fees paid will be fully refunded.

This flexible registration schedule ensures passengers have sufficient time to plan their travel while maintaining convenience and transparency in Ro-Ro bookings.
