In a disturbing incident, Rajeev Shukla, a 35-year-old lawyer from Uttar Pradesh, had a horrifying experience during his visit to Mumbai. Rajeev, a strict vegetarian, ordered Dal Makhani (lentils) online from the renowned Barbeque Nation restaurant in Mumbai, where he was staying for work. Little did he know the nightmare that would unfold as he took the first few bites of his meal.

Hungry and eager to satisfy his appetite, Rajeev quickly consumed two bites of the Dal Makhani upon its arrival. However, his joy turned into sheer horror when he discovered a dead rat while serving the dal. The shocking incident took place on January 8 and he promptly took to social media to share the unsettling ordeal he had just experienced.

Barbeque Nation was swift to respond to the incident, notifying Rajeev via email as soon as the discovery of the dead mouse was made.

Unfortunately, by that time, he had already ingested a portion of the contaminated food, leading to immediate consequences. Rajeev started experiencing vomiting and nausea shortly after consuming the tainted meal, prompting an urgent need for medical attention.

Upon his admission to the hospital, Rajeev documented and shared his harrowing experience on social media. The post quickly gained traction, and numerous netizens expressed their outrage against the restaurant through comments, condemning the shocking lapse in hygiene standards.
