Central Railway's Mumbai Division Schedules Traffic And Power Blocks Affecting Train Services From 26 To 29 November 2025

Central Railway's Mumbai division plans special traffic and power blocks. These are for pre Non-InterlockingNI) and NI works at Lala-BVT yard and Lonavala Up on the Kalyan-Lonav section. The effort includes remodelling the yard and extending lines in the Down and Up yards.

The blocks will last from 26 November to 6 December 2025. However, train operations will only be disrupted from 26 November to 29 November. Services are expected to return to normal on 30 November, easing travel for commuters.

Key Schedule and Train Disruptions

During 26 and 27 November, between 11:25 am and 6:25 pm, Mail and Express trains on the Down line will experience delays. The Jodhpur-Hadapsar Express (20495) will be held at Karjat for 45 minutes. The CSMT-Chennai Express (22159) will face a 1-hour delay at Lonavala.

The LTT-Madurai Express (22101) will be regulated at Bhivpuri Road for 10 minutes. Both CSMT-Bhubaneshwar Konark Express (11019) and CSMT-Hyderabad Express (22732) will see a 10–15 minutes delay at Lonavala. The LTT-Kakinada Express (17222) will be delayed by 10 minutes at Bhivpuri Road only on 27 November.

Suburban trains will also be affected. Those leaving Pune at 09:57 am, 11:17 am, 3:00 pm, and 4:25 pm, along with the train from Shivaji Nagar at 12:05 noon, will terminate or start from Talegaon. Several Lonavala–Shivaji Nagar/Pune suburban trains will originate from Talegaon.

Impact on Suburban Trains

On 28 and 29 November, four Pune-Lonavala suburban trains will be terminated at Talegaon. Trains leaving Pune at 09:57 am, 11:17 am, 3:00 pm, and 4:25 pm will be affected. Five Lonavala–Shivaji Nagar/Pune trains will originate from Talegaon and depart at 11:56 am, 3:16 pm, 3:56 pm, 5:56 pm, and 6:36 pm.

Other trains will experience delays. The Pune-CSMT Deccan Express (11008) will be regulated for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Daund-Indore Express (22943) will be delayed by 1 hour. The Kolhapur-CSMT Koyna Express (11030) will face a 40-minute delay. The Bengaluru-CSMT Udyan Express (11302) will be held for 30 minutes.

The Nagercoil-CSMT Express (16352 / 16340) will experience delays of 1 hour and 30 minutes on 28 and 29 November, respectively. The CSMT-Chennai Express (22159) will be 10 minutes late at Lonavala. Pune-CSMT Intercity and Indrayani Express (12128 / 22106) will see a 10–15 minutes delay at CSMT.

Madurai-LTT Superfast Express (22102) will be delayed by 10–15 minutes at LTT on 29 November. CSMT-Hospete Express (11139) will have a delayed departure from CSMT. Despite these disruptions, normalcy is expected to resume from 30 November onwards, with no further interruptions anticipated until 6 December.
