Blinkit Delivery Agent Urnates In Lift, CCTV Video Goes Viral, Sparks Outrage

A CCTV video showing a Blinkit delivery agent urinating in a lift at an apartment building in Virar, Maharashtra, has caused widespread anger online. The footage quickly gained traction on social media platforms, sparking discussions and outrage among viewers.

Residents of the apartment complex were furious upon discovering the incident. After reviewing the CCTV footage, they confronted the delivery agent about his actions. The man, identifiable by his Blinkit uniform, was reportedly assaulted by residents before being taken to Bolingaj Police Station for a formal complaint.

Confrontation and Complaint

The viral video shows the delivery agent entering the lift and moving to a corner before urinating, seemingly unaware of being recorded. Another clip captures residents questioning him about his behaviour. "Why are you beating me?" he asks, while a resident responds, "What were you doing inside the lift? We will file a police complaint against you."

As of now, Blinkit has not released any official statement regarding this incident. The lack of response from the company has left many wondering about their stance on such behaviour by their employees.

Previous Incident Involving Blinkit

Earlier in July 2025, another controversy involving a Blinkit delivery agent emerged in Delhi. A customer alleged that an agent misused personal information and threatened him over the phone with statements like "Maloom hai mujhe kaha rehte ho (I know where you live)." This incident raised concerns about privacy and safety among customers.

The same customer claimed that he received over 15 threatening calls within minutes from the same agent. The calls included abusive language and intimidation tactics, further escalating tensions between customers and delivery personnel.

The recent incidents have highlighted issues surrounding customer safety and employee conduct within delivery services. As these stories continue to unfold, many are calling for stricter regulations and accountability measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
