Baba Siddique Death News: Soon after the news of death of senior NCP leader Baba Siddique spread, Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reached Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, where Baba Siddique was taken after attack on him.

Reports said, unidentified assailants fired multiple rounds at Baba Siddique of the Ajit Pawar-led NCP in Bandra East on Saturday evening.

It was learned that Salman Khan was shooting for BiggBoss 18, when he received the saddening news. He immediately left for Lilavati Hospital to see Baba Siddique, who was one of his closest friend.

An official stated, "Two to three rounds were fired. Further probe is underway as teams have rushed to the area."

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Expresses Grief:

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his concern over the incident. He stated, "This is a very unfortunate incident and I have spoken to the doctors and police. Two people have been arrested, the accused are from UP and Haryana. The third accused is absconding. We have instructed Mumbai Police to take strict action against those who take law and order into their own hands. I am sure that Mumbai Police will soon arrest the third accused. Strict action will be taken against the accused."

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but speculation has arisen regarding possible connections to notorious criminal groups. There are questions about whether the Lawrence Bishnoi gang might be involved due to past tensions related to Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
