25-year-old woman sexually assaulted by security guard in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 25: Crime against women never seem to die down in the country. In a latest incident, a 25-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a security guard of her apartment building.

The incident took place on Friday when the woman was returning home after having dinner with her friend. Reports suggest that the woman was attacked by the guard after her friend dropped her at the building at 2.30 am.

The incident took place in Powai. After the incident the woman lodged a complaint aganist the guard, who later on confessed to the crime. The police even scanned the CCTV footage to find the guard missing immediately after the crime.

In August 2012 a similar incident took place in Mumbai where a young lawyer was asaulted and murdered in her apartment by the building security guard.
