Tamil Nadu Road Accident: Car Hits A Family While Crossing Road; 4 Dead, 3 Injured
Tamil Nadu Road Accident: A tragic accident occurred at Kunjampatti near Usilampatti, resulting in the deaths of four family members, including a one-year-old boy. The incident happened on Saturday when a speeding car hit them as they attempted to cross the road after getting off at a bus stop. The victims were part of a group returning from a temple visit in Usilampatti.
Among the deceased were Pandiselvi, Jothika, Lakshmi, and the infant. Three other individuals from the group sustained severe injuries and were quickly taken to Usilampatti Government Hospital by local commuters who witnessed the accident. These injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment.

Police Investigation Underway
The Usilampatti Police have initiated an investigation into this hit-and-run case. They have recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, authorities are actively searching for the driver responsible for the accident, who fled the scene and remains untraceable.
The victims hailed from Kanjampatti village and were among seven people traveling together. The community is in shock over this sudden tragedy that claimed multiple lives. Efforts are being made to locate the driver and bring justice to the grieving families.
