These include Mangai pachadi (a dish made from raw mangoes), Payasam (a sweet dessert), Poli (a sweet flatbread), Sakkarai Pongal (a sweet rice dish), Avial (a mixed vegetable curry), Manga Urgai (mango pickle), Vepamboo rasam (a soup made from neem flowers), Panagam (a jaggery-based drink), Neer mor (buttermilk), and Aplam (papadum). These dishes not only add flavour to the celebrations but also carry cultural significance.
