  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 500 grams pork, diced
  • 4 teaspoons meat masala powder
  • ½ medium-sized onion, finely sliced
  • 3 green chilli peppers
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger (or ginger paste)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (or garlic paste)
  • 1 pork stock cube
  • 3 tablespoons ready-to-mix potato mash

  • Wok or suitable cooking vessel

Procedure

  1. Heat half the coconut oil in a wok. Brown the diced pork in it.
  2. Add half of the meat masala powder. Fry for one minute.
  3. Add vinegar and fry for another minute. Pour in 1 cup of water and cook until the meat is half done.
  4. Sauté sliced onions and chopped chillies in the remaining coconut oil over medium heat.
  5. Add ginger and garlic after about 4 minutes. Stir fry for 3 more minutes.
  6. Add the remaining meat masala powder. Cook until onions are translucent.
  7. Add the pork stock cube and ¼ glass of water. Keep on low heat for around 4 minutes.
  8. Add half-cooked meat to the mixture. Cook on medium heat until the meat is thoroughly cooked.
  9. Add ¼ cup of water and potato mash. Adjust water for desired thickness.
  10. Remove from heat and let it rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
