  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 litre of milk
  • 250 grams of khoa (concentrated milk solids)
  • 500 grams of sugar
  • 100 grams of almonds
  • 100 grams of cashews
  • 100 grams of pistachios
  • 100 grams of raisins
  • 250 grams of ghee
  • 10 grams of cardamom
  • 500 ml of water

Procedure

  1. Trim the edges of the bread slices and cut each slice into four pieces.
  2. Fry the bread pieces in ghee until they turn golden brown.
  3. Create a sugar syrup by mixing half a litre of water with the sugar. Add milk to this syrup and boil until it thickens.
  4. Grind the cardamom seeds into a fine powder.
  5. Add the powdered cardamom and khoa to the thickened milk mixture. Stir well to combine.
  6. Place the fried bread pieces on a flat tray. Pour the hot syrup over them. Garnish with raisins and nuts.
  7. Refrigerate the dessert before serving.
