  • 2 generous tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 500 ml lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Procedure

  1. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, wheat flour, salt, and water. Beat slowly using a wire whisk or use a food processor. Add 2 tablespoons of oil.
  2. Add some oil to a round baking dish and preheat it in the oven for a few minutes.
  3. Remove the dish from the oven and pour the faina mixture into the hot dish.
  4. Place it back into the oven for about 20 minutes until the top is golden and the edges are dry with a fried look.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper and cut into wedges.
