West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on top of Maoist hit-list
Kolkata, Sept 26: West Bengal chief minister and ruling Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee is on the top of Maoist hit-list, reports said on Thursday.
According to reports, the aggressive Mamata is aware that her name tops the Maoist-hit list but despite a threat to her life, she is not 'afraid' of Maoists' threat.
While addressing a public rally in Silda on Wednesday, Mamata said, "I have heard that my name tops their hit-list. If they are brave enough let them come. I am not afraid of them. Nothing can stop me from visiting Junglemahal (the former stronhold of Maoists)."
Mamata Banerjee is not 'afraid' of Maoists' threat.
Lashing out at Maoists as 'cowards', Mamata said, "I will visit Junglemahal a thousand times to carry on the development process."
She also urged people to resist the Maoists so that they could not disturb peace and said, "We have recruited many people in Junglemahal in the police force, in the civic police and village police."
