Srinjoy Bose quits Trinamool Congress

Kolkata, Feb 5: Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Srinjoy Bose on Thursday quit the party. He also gave up the Rajya Sabha membership.

Bose had been arrested in connection with the Saradha scam. He was however released on bail a couple of days back.

Bose' resignation from the party comes in the wake of the TMC already facing a host of problems over its leaders being involved in the Saradha scam and also not towing the party line.

While Kunal Ghosh had gone all out in his accusations against Mamata Banerjee even senior leader Mukul Roy has shown his indifferent towards the party. With Roy sending signals of breaking the party the resignation of Bose is yet another set back for the TMC.
