Mamata Banerjee, TMC leaders to skip Modi's swearing-in ceremony on May 26

Modi on Monday was formally announced as the PM designate by the President and will be taking the oath as the PM on May 26.
TV reports had suggested that Mamata had issued guidelines to her party members regarding the same. However TMC leader Mukul Roy refused to comment on the same.
Mamata and Modi had exchanged bitter words in the past few weeks during the Lok Sabha election campaign. Mamata got furious after Modi had raised the issue of illegal intruders of Bangladeshi Muslims.
However this is the first ever instance that a party has said that it will not be attending the swearing-in ceremony of the PM designate.
