Kolkata Rape-Murder: Autopsy Report Reveals Grisly Details Of Brutality, Hints At Multiple Assailants
The autopsy report of the doctor who was raped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has revealed disturbing details.
According to a senior doctor, the findings suggest multiple penetrations, indicating that more than one person might have been involved in the crime.

Dr Subarna Goswami, a former student of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, reviewed the autopsy report. He stated that it clearly indicates multiple penetrations, confirming that the victim was raped more than once.
"The autopsy report is proof of the brutality she had to encounter, the presence of more than one person, and that she was sexually assaulted more than once. This is bestiality at its worst," he told PTI.
Details from the autopsy report
The report also highlighted that the woman's injuries were antemortem, meaning they were inflicted before her death. This contradicts any claims suggesting she was raped post-mortem.
"Homicidal injuries are antemortem in nature with the indication of sexual penetration," the report noted.
The estimated time of death was between 3 am and 5 am.
Further examination revealed several injuries on her body, including on her lips, nose, cheeks, and lower jaw.
There were also injuries on her skull's temporal bone and blood coagulation on its frontal portion. The victim was throttled and then smothered to death.
Genital torture and brutality
An India Today report mentioned that she suffered genital torture due to "perverted sexuality."
Her mouth was covered, and her head was pushed against a wall or floor to prevent her from screaming or calling for help. She bled from her eyes, mouth, and private parts.
The body of the postgraduate trainee was discovered inside a seminar hall at the hospital on August 9 morning. A civic volunteer was arrested on Saturday in connection with this case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the incident.
Medical professionals and activists have held midnight protests in Kolkata to condemn this heinous act.
They carried posters and candles as they demanded justice for the young medic who lost her life in such a brutal manner.
