New Delhi, May 13: 'Friday the 13th' is known worldwide known to be a day that has bad omen! This day is also considered as Black Friday. This year only one Friday the 13th is falling that is today.

The irrational fear of Friday the 13th is termed Friggatriskaidekaphobic and it combines a fear of Fridays with the perception that number 13 is an unlucky number.

On Friday, May 13, the micro-blogging site Twitter is flooded with scary tweets, warnings and alerts. Superstitious people in western countries believe this as an unlucky day. It occurs when the 13th day of the month in the Gregorian calendar falls on a Friday.
