ZEO's surprise visit to J&K schools; 7 teachers chargesheeted

On visiting a primary school at Mohalla Gorsian, the officer found that the school was closed at 2:40 PM and the teachers namely Zafar Salam and Jamshed Begum were absent from their duties. At another primary school in Nariyan Ari , a teacher namely Amrit Lal was found absent from duty.
At middle school in Dabura, headmaster Khurshid Ahmed was found absent from duty. The primary school in Nabni Ari was found closed at 2 PM, before the scheduled time.
School teachers Neeru Suri and Shewata Sharma were chargesheeted for closing the school before the actual closing time.
The ZEO chargesheeted all the teachers and withheld their salary for the month of November.
