YouTuber Elvish Yadav In Hot Water: Gurugram Police Books Him For Using Prohibited Snakes In Video

YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who was recently granted bail by a Noida court in the snake venom case, has now been booked by the Gurugram Police for using prohibited snakes in his videos. The Gurugram Police filed a case against Elvish Yadav and singer Rahul Yadav, also known as Fazalpuria. This action followed a court order in Gurugram, which directed the police to register an FIR against the social media influencer after animal rights activist Saurabh Gupta approached the court regarding a video shot by Elvish Yadav in a mall in Gurugram.

Saurabh Gupta, associated with BJP MP Maneka Gandhi's People for Animals, filed the complaint, alleging that Elvish and 50 others were seen using various snakes prohibited under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, in a viral video. Gupta stated that despite lodging a complaint with the police last year and meeting the Gurugram Commissioner in person, no action was taken.

Elvish Yadav now faces three cases in Delhi-NCR - two related to rare snakes and one due to his viral video involving the altercation with YouTuber Maxtern. In another snake-related case, Elvish Yadav was accused of supplying snake venom to a rave party in Noida. Reports suggest that after his arrest, Elvish confessed to arranging snake venom for rave parties. This case was also filed by Maneka Gandhi's People for Animals, which organized the rave party as part of an operation to expose those behind the illegal supply of snake venom to such events.

In addition to these three cases, there are several complaints against Elvish for allegedly threatening people.

The controversial video was filmed at Gurugram's Earth Iconic Mall in Sector 71 last year.

Following his release on bail, Elvish released a video discussing the difficult phase of his life. "The past week has undoubtedly been a very tough time. I won't even talk about the time I spent inside (jail). Let's start a new chapter on a positive note. To all those who supported me, didn't support me, spoke ill or well of me, thank you to everyone. I can only express my gratitude. I am back to my work," he said in his video.
