Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

On Wednesday and Thursday Yogi held two meetings to assess various departments and their working. The Wednesday meeting began at 6 pm and ended by 12.30 am. The Thursday meeting which began at 6 pm went on till 1 am.

When the CM is at a meeting, none of the bureaucrats can leave the secretariat. They can call it a day when Yogi finishes. Officials are finding it hard to cope with his timing. However some officials say that they will get used to it over a period of time.

The problem for all officials is that Yogi hardly sleeps. He sleeps just four hours and is back at work very early in the morning. He works through the night and while he does so, officials have to be present. Yogi has taken several important decisions since he took over as the CM of UP.

During the meetings, the officials are supposed to be ready with a presentation. Yogi sits through the presentation and then asks questions. He wants to implement anything good in quick time. He has a lot of questions to ask and hands out a deadline for the implementation of a project which has to be done, officials say.
