Adityanath's comments come after Kher said at an event that there are some people in the party (BJP) who speak nonsense and ill-behave, "Whether it is Sadhvi or Yogi... they should be put behind bars, thrown out of the party,' Kher said.
Kher was speaking in Kolkata at the Telegraph National Debate on intolerance on Saturday, Mar 5.
Yogi Adityanath and Sadhvi Prachi have earlier sparked controversies with their remarks. Adityanath had recently compared Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan to the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks Hafiz Saeed.
He had said there is no difference between the language of Shah Rukh Khan and Hafiz Saeed.
