Yet Another Cross Border Love Story Like Seema Haider's Case, This Time From Bangladesh

In a case similar to Pakistani woman Seema Haider's cross-border love story, a woman from Bangladesh travelled to India to marry her boyfriend from Uttar Pradesh. She reportedly fell in love after meeting him on Facebook.

However, the only difference in this case compared to Seema Haider's love story is that the Bangladeshi woman identified as Julie left for her country along with her boyfriend Ajay Singh with her.

"A woman, identified as Julie from Bangladesh came to UP's Moradabad to marry her lover Ajay who she had met over Facebook. However, later, under the pretext of renewing her visa, Julie took Ajay with her to Bangladesh and sent distressing photos of him soaked in blood to his mother," Moradabad Police said in a statement.

Ajay's mother filed a complaint with the SSP Moradabad requesting him to save her son and bring him back. An investigation is being done in this regard, the statement said.

The case is similar to Seema Haider's love story.

30-year-old Seema had entered India along with her four children on a bus from Nepal in May in order to live with 22-year-old Sachin Meena, who lives in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida in Gautam Buddh Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh. The couple had first got in touch in 2019 over online game PUBG.

On July 4, Seema was arrested by local police for entering India illegally and Sachin was held for sheltering illegal immigrants. However, they were both granted bail by a local court on July 7 and have been living together with her four children in a house in the Rabupura area.

During her interactions with the media, Seema said she does not wish to go back to Pakistan and wants to live with Sachin in India only. She also claimed to have converted to Hinduism.

On the other hand, Ghulam Haider, the husband of Seema Haider has made an emotional appeal to her, asking her to come back to his life. "I still love you the same and will continue to do so. I miss the kids and you so much. No one will say anything to you. I will keep you with me and we will start a new life again," he told YouTuber Mohsin. He further stated that if she feels unsafe in Pakistan, he would take her back to Saudi where he has been working.
