Won't let the government take away farmers' land: Rahul Gandhi
Ananthpur, July 24: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday, July 24 kicked off his padyatra in Andhra Pradesh and interacted with farmers in the region.
Addressing a gathering here, Gandhi promised the people that he would continue to fight for the families where farmers had committed suicide.

Hitting out at the Modi government, Gandhi said: "We will not let the government take away farmers' land easily." He added that he would continue to fight for the rights of the farmers and the labourers in the Land Bill.
"The way PM wanted to take away farmers' land, he wants to take away Special Category Status and Polavaram project from the people of this state. I can understand the intentions of the PM, but I don't understand the intentions of the CM of this state and the other party," he said.
