Woman Farmer Tells Sonia Gandhi to Get Rahul Gandhi Married. Watch Congress Leader's Amusing Reply
In a recent public outreach effort, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi interacted with women farmers from Sonipat, Haryana, along with his mother, Sonia Gandhi, and sister, Priyanka Gandhi.
The meeting was filled with light-hearted banter, and one of the women farmers playfully urged Sonia Gandhi to find a suitable match for Rahul. To this, the senior Congress leader responded with humor, saying, "You find a girl."

Rahul Gandhi shared glimpses of the heartwarming conversation on his Twitter handle, expressing how it was a memorable day for him, his mother, and sister. The Gandhi family spent time with the women farmers, even enjoying dinner together at their home. The occasion was filled with joy, and the women farmers gifted them with delightful presents, including desi ghee, sweet lassi, homemade pickles, and an abundance of love.
The meeting between Rahul Gandhi and the women farmers took place on July 16 and served as an opportunity for the Congress leader to connect with the local community.
Rahul Gandhi's marital status has often attracted media attention, and it was no different when RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav playfully commented on the topic. During a press conference in Patna on June 23, following a meeting of opposition parties, Yadav humorously advised Rahul Gandhi to consider getting married soon, along with suggesting he trim his beard. In response, Gandhi playfully agreed, stating, "Now that you've said it, it will happen."
