Woman Claims BJP Workers Harassed Her On Vande Bharat Train Launched By PM Modi
An incident of alleged harassment and misbehaviour by BJP workers aboard the newly inaugurated Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express has sparked controversy.
The woman involved recounted her distressing experience, stating that while she and her companion were moving through the train coach to get food, they were confronted by a man who blocked their path. According to her, the individual claimed that the cabin was reserved for BJP members and that they were not permitted to pass through.

"We were simply trying to get some food when an uncle stopped us, saying that the cabin was for BJP members only," the woman told journalists aboard the train. "When we returned, they began arguing and pushing us, questioning why we were moving around the cabin so frequently. We are also associated with the BJP, but such behaviour only serves to defame the party."
Her companion, who identified himself as a BJP supporter and influencer invited to cover the train's inauguration, voiced his frustration over the incident. "The BJP hired us as influencers. They treated the train as if it were their personal property and mistreated my sister," he said.
The incident quickly gained traction on social media, drawing criticism from Congress spokesperson Shama Mohamed. "This is completely unacceptable. The train is public property, not a personal or BJP asset," she posted on X.
The Congress party further highlighted the controversy by sharing a viral clip of the incident, commenting, "This video is a testament to the conduct, character, and face of the BJP."
The new Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express, designed to cut travel time by approximately one hour compared to the current fastest train between the two cities, is intended to enhance passenger convenience and efficiency. However, this incident has shifted the focus to concerns about the behavior of certain individuals associated with the BJP.
