Noida shocker: 26-year-old raped inside mall washroom

Noida, Mar 1: A Delhi woman on Sunday alleged that she had been raped by a salesman in the washroom of a popular Noida mall.

Police have arrested the accused, Yogesh of Jaitpur in Delhi, who worked as a salesman in a showroom in the mall after the woman filed a complaint.

The woman, a Delhi resident, was earlier in a live-in relationship with the accused, they said.

On Saturday, according to the complaint, the woman had visited the mall where she was raped by in a washroom.

Today she lodged an FIR with Delhi Police. "A Zero FIR has been lodged at a Delhi police station. It has been transferred to Noida Police... Investigations have been started.

The accused has been arrested and sent to jail, SP (City) Y Singh said.
