With Prashant Kishore by his side, Jagan Reddy wants to be AP CM for 30 years
This is the first time that the poll strategist is taking over poll projects in South India.
YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to go on a six-month-long statewide padayatra in October. Backed by poll strategist Prashant Kishore, Jagan hopes to become Chief Minister and remain in power for 30 years.
Jagan introduced Prashant Kishore to party members in July during the YSRCP Plenary. The YSR Congress' "Anna Vastunnadu...Bhavishyattu Manade" (Elder brother is arriving and the future belongs to us) campaign is expected to gain more momentum in October when the leader begins his 3,000 kms padayatra. He will begin the walk on October 27 from his ancestral village of Idupulapaya in Kadapa district and the same is expected to end at Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district.

With poll strategist Prashant Kishore by his side, Jagan hopes to become the 'Chief Minister for 30 years'. The pre-poll promises made by Jagan Mohan Reddy in all his "Anna Vastunnadu" rallies are the brainchild of Prashanth Kishore. The ban on liquor is one of the top promises. During the Padayatra, Jagan, much like his father Rajashekhar Reddy, is expected to interact, live and dine with people from different regions.
With the Nandyal bypolls around the corner, the YSRCP has launched an all out attack on the Chandrababu Naidu government. The attacks will only increase from October with Pawan Kalyan also jumping into the political fray.
'Golden rule of Rajashekhar Reddy' will be Jagan's promise during the padayatra. Jagan has time and again said that he intends to be in power long enough for people to place his picture next to that of his father's in every household. He hopes to achieve the same with Prashant Kishore's help. Naidu government has failed to ensure the promised quota to the Kapu community, a poll agenda that both Pawan Kalyan and Jagan will exploit.
