With 8 criminal cases, Ravindra Gaikwad is not new to controversy
His affidavit filed to the Election Commission for the 2014 parliamentary polls tells you why this neta is shameless about his actions.
He takes pride in assaulting a 60-year-old man and has no remorse over his actions, leave alone apologising, Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad doesn't even acknowledge that he is in the wrong. While his actions reek of brazen highhandedness and disregard for law or morality, Gaikwad is neither new to committing offences nor to controversies. The affidavit he had filed to the Election Commission for the 2014 parliamentary polls tells you why this neta is shameless about his actions.

Gaikwad has eight criminal cases against him, including one for culpable homicide. He has been booked for multiple charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, criminal intimidation, rioting, unlawful assembly, voluntarily causing hurt, endangering life, wrongful restraint and being armed with deadly weapons. All this in his own submission in affidavits filed.
In 2014, within months of being elected to the Lok Sabha, Gaikwad was accused of force-feeding a Muslim caterer who was observing his Ramzan fast. The MP was supposedly unhappy with the quality of the food at Maharashtra Sadan and force-fed the catering in-charge who was observing a fast. Even then, the MP had remained defiant.
