Why It Will Be Hard To Hurl Papers At Presiding Officers In New Parliament House
Throwing papers at the presiding officers in the new Parliament building would be impossible.
The Parliament has several times witnessed ruckus with Opposition members barging into the well of the house and throwing papers, holding placards or posters.

The chairs of the presiding officers in both the Houses of the new Parliament have been placed at a higher level when compared to the current chambers. The wells of the house are deeper as well.
The wells in the new Houses are around a foot below the first row and hence catching the eyes of the cameras during any protest would be nearly impossible.
In a significant departure from the numerical names of the entry-exit points in the current building, the new Parliament building will have new features, including three entrances which will be called- Gyan Dwar, Shakti Dwar and Karma Dwar.
There are also speculations that the new Parliament building will get a new name.
In addition to this, the parliament building will have statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Sardar Patel and Chanakya.
Meanwhile mock drills are being held ahead of the inauguration on May 28.
While the 1994 guidelines on telecast of Lok Sabha proceedings clearly mention that cameras shall not focus on any interruption, protests of walk-outs, in 2005, then Lok Sabha Speaker, Somnath Chatterjee had observed that the telecast shall also show scenes of protest and walk-outs.
