Malayalam filmmaker Joseph Manu James died at the age of 31, sending Mollywood and fans into a deep shock. He is survived by his wife Naina, and siblings.

Cause of Death:

The filmmaker was undergoing treatment for hepatitis and unfortunately lost his life on February 24 in Aluva in Ernakulam. He was hospitalised after being diagnosed with pneumonia, reports claim.

His final rites were performed on Sunday and was created at the Major Archiepiscopal Marth Mariam Archdeacon Church, Kuravilangad.

Aju Varghese, who worked with Joseph Manu James in 'Nancy Rani', paid his heartfelt condolences after learning about his untimely death. "Gone too soon brother. Prayers," Varghese wrote on his social media account.

Ahaana Krishna, who starred in Joseph Manu James' first film, too reacted to the news. "Rest in peace Manu! This shouldn't have happened to you," she wrote on Instagram Story.

In recent years, film industries across the country have witnessed such untimely deaths. Notably, the Kannada film industry's icon Puneeth Rajkumar died by cardiac arrest that came as a big shock to the entire South Indian film industry.
