Who Is Ex-Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Likely To Contest Lok Sabha Elections 2024?
Amidst political turmoil in Haryana, the resignation of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was submitted to the Governor on Tuesday.
Reports suggest that significant changes are anticipated in the Haryana government by the BJP leadership, potentially due to strained relations with the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP).

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Submits Resignation
It is speculated that Nayab Saini will replace him, although the exact nature of the changes remains undisclosed, as senior party leaders have refrained from commenting. Central BJP leaders, including Union Minister Arjun Munda and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, are reportedly overseeing the situation in the state.
The deteriorating ties between the BJP and the JJP, led by Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, stem from their failure to negotiate a seat-sharing agreement for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Notably, the BJP secured all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state during the 2019 elections.
Speculation Arises: Will Haryana Chief Minister Contest Lok Sabha Polls from Karnal?
According to sources, there is speculation that the Haryana Chief Minister may contest the Lok Sabha polls from Karnal. A meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs has been convened today at noon, and reportedly, two central observers have been dispatched to Chandigarh, reported Times Now.
