When Vajpayee, Amitabh, Shah Rukh Khan came together for a music video
New Delhi, Aug 16: It is a well known fact that Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former prime minister of India was a prolific poet apart from being an excellent orator. While he had penned down many poems, the one in 2002 was converted into a song by Ghazal maestro Jagit Singh.

The poem was called, Kya Khoya Kya Paaya, while the album was titled Samvedna.
The music video featured Shah Rukh Khan and the preface of the video was narrated by Amitabh Bachchan. Incidentally the video was directed by Yash Chopra.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee's book Samvedna, upon which this album is based, was released in the year 1999. The former PM passed away on August 16 at 5.05 pm.
