When Siddaramaiah gave Ram Rajya lessons to BJP
The Karnataka chief minister was taking a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party which will be his major challenger in the 2018 Karnataka assembly elections.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in his budget speech on Wednesday invoked Ram Rajya. He decided to define Ram Rajya in his speech and even took at dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party which will be his major challenger in the 2018 Karnataka assembly elections.
According to Siddaramaiah, Ram Rajya is a corruption free society. "It represents a hunger-free society coupled with overall development. Ram Rajya is an exploitation free society with development and deep rooted harmony," Siddaramaiah said while explaining the concept. He also said that a Ram Rajya cannot be built by those who oppose the concept of social justice.
Siddaramaiah presented the Karnataka budget on Wednesday. The budget according to many was presented keeping in mind the elections in Karnataka in 2018.
