Regions likely to receive rain and snow

Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall is expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during February 1 to 3, 2026, the IMD said.

In the plains, isolated to scattered light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is likely over Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on February 1 and 2. A few places in Madhya Maharashtra may also receive rainfall on February 2, 2026.
