Weather forecast for June 2: Light rains likely over Hyderabad until monsoon arrives
The Pre-Monsoon season, which began in the month of March and ended in May ended in a poor start. Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai for June 2.

Bengaluru:
Bengaluru, the garden city has been witnessing on and off showers. According to a private weather forecast, Skymet weather, these rains is attributed due to the formation of a cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal which is expected to move in a westerly direction leading to increased rains over Rayalaseema and Karnataka. Meanwhile, the city will witness scattered thunderstorms on June 2. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 28 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 80 percent.
Delhi:
Delhi and adjoining NCR have been reeling under heatwave or heatwave like conditions. However, heatwave conditions would prevail in the city. As per weathermen in Skymet, the normal Monsoon onset date for Delhi is June 28. Meanwhile, Delhiites might be witnessing sunny weather on June 2. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 42 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 33 percent.
Hyderabad:
The city of Nizams has been witnessing Subdued rains have been occurring over the state of Telangana since the last many days. As per Skymet Weather, Southwest Monsoon made an onset on May 28. Within 10 days of Monsoons onset, it also covers Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Thus, by June 6 with an error margin of +/ - 2 days, Southwest Monsoon is expected to set in over both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Meanwhile, Hyderabad city will be witnessing partly cloudy weather on June 2. The maximum temperature would be recorded around 37 degree Celsius and humidity around 46 percent.
Mumbai:
The city has been battling with the warm and humid weather for a quite long time. Southwest Monsoon 2018 has now started moving towards Maharashtra because of which some parts of the region received rainfall earlier in the day. Meanwhile, on June 2, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 33 degree Celsius and humidity around 67 percent.
Kolkata:
After remaining dry for the past six to seven days, Kolkata finally managed to receive some light traces of rains. According to Skymet weather, the normal date for the onset of Monsoon over Kolkata is between June 8 and 10. However, Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures will settle around 33 degrees but as the day progresses, the city is likely to witness thunderstorm.
