We Haven't Married: Pakistani Man On Reports Of Tying Knot To Indian Woman Anju
Pakistan man Nasrullah has denied the reports of marrying Indian woman Anju, who travelled to his country to meet him.
In an interview with India Today, he said that it is a false report and they did not tie the knot.

On asking why they went to a court, he said, "We appeared before the court because we were in danger and went before the court to request security. The government has also provided us with the security of 50 police officers because Anju is a foreigner."
He said that her life is in danger and might be attacked any time. He stated, "There are different kinds of people here. We want to protect her, which is why we appeared before the court."
He also clarified that the marriage certificate picture doing rounds is fake.
Nasrullah stated that Anju wore a burqa while entering the court so that nobody recognises her. He then claimed that the Indian woman is her "best friend" who wanted to see his country.
Talking about her marriage, the Pakistani stated that her divorce process is underway. When asked whether he would tie the knot after her divorce, he said, "That's her decision. If she says so, then I will. But for now, she is going back to India."
Anju herself clarified that she has not married him. She said, "Yes. There is nothing like that. We just went outside for sightseeing, and that is all. Rumours are made up, but we did not get married."
Earlier in the day, there were widespread reports that their marriage was solemnised at a local court. "Nasrullah and Anju's marriage was solemnised today and a proper nikkah was performed after she converted to Islam," a senior officer at Moharrar City Police Station in Upper Dir district Muhammad Wahab told PTI.
According to a report in PTI, Anju told the court that she has willingly come to Pakistan and is very happy. On the other hand, her husband in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan claimed that she left home on Thursday on the pretext of going to Jaipur but later the family came to know that she was in Pakistan.
Anju is married to Arvind, who is in Rajasthan. They have a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. Anju travelled to Pakistan legally from India via the Wagah-Attari border.
