The current terms for these assemblies end on November 26, 2024, and January 5, 2025, respectively. The announcement will also include details about bypolls for three vacant Lok Sabha seats and at least 47 assembly constituencies.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar commended the voters of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) for their significant participation in the recent elections.
