Watch: School Girls Tie Rakhis To PM Modi On Raksha Bandhan

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, school girls tied rakhis to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday. The Prime Minister greeted the girls and wished them a happy Raksha Bandhan. He said that the festival is a symbol of the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters.

The girls presented the Prime Minister with rakhis made of different materials, including thread, silk, and flowers. Modi tied the rakhis on the wrists of the girls and gave them gifts. He also interacted with the girls and asked them about their studies and future plans.

Raksha Bandhan is a popular festival in India that is celebrated on the full moon day of the Shravan month. The festival marks the bond between brothers and sisters, and it is a time for them to reaffirm their love and support for each other.

In this year, Raksha Bandhan is being celebrated on the night of August 30. The festival will be celebrated in different ways across India, but the common thread will be the love and affection between brothers and sisters.
