Wanted to prevent Karti from leaving India like Mallya: CBI in Madras HC
Karti's counsel however raised objection to the submissions and asked the CBI to withdraw the same.
The look out circular against Karti Chidambaram was issued to prevent him from leaving the country like Vijay Mallya, the CBI's counsel told the Madras High Court. The submission was made at the Madras High Court on a petition filed by Karti, son of former union Chidambaram who challenged the LOC issued against him.

Karti's counsel however raised objection to the submissions and asked the CBI to withdraw the same. The Madras High Court directed the CBI to serve a copy of the circular with Karti. The matter has been adjourned to August 10.
