Wanted criminal held in Muzaffarnagar
A wanted criminal carrying a bounty of Rs12,000 on his head has been arrested by police in Muzaffarnagar.
Muzffarnagar, Dec 16: A notorious shooter Manoj alias Bittu with a reward of Rs 12,000 on his head and wanted in cases of murder was arrested from Sisoli town in the district, police said today.
Bittu was arrested yesterday while he was conspiring to kill Sisoli town chairman Surender, they said. Surender's brother Pradeep was murdered by Bittu in 2012.
The accused is wanted several cases of murder and loot, police said, adding he is being interrogated.
