Walkathon at Bengaluru on World Diabetes day

The objective of this event is to increase public awareness about diabtes in children.

On the eve of World Diabetes Day and Children's Day, a walkathon has been organised. Shivajoyti, has called this event, "Wake UP and Walk for Children for Diabates." The event will held at the Cubbon Park, Bengaluru on November 13th at 8.30 AM.

The objective of this event is to increase public awareness about diabtes in children. Awareness with education is even more powerful and knowing the symptoms of type 1 diabetes can be life saving.

Further the walkathon would also spread awareness about the benefits of walking. By joining this walk participants can, take steps towards better health. Additionally it will also help boost mental well being. The walkathon also helps build a community of support for children with diabetes and lead the way towards better diabtes control.
