Vyapam Scam: Another witness reportedly died 2 months back.

Bhopal, July 9: In a shocking report by the Special Task Force (STF) to a court in Madhya Pradesh, it was revealed that a witness who was to appear as a witness in the Vyapam Scam had died two months ago.

The witness Sanjay Kumar Yadav, a resident of Uttar Pradesh is said to have helped three constables escape from the police academy. With his death, the unusual death count list goes up to 36.

Justice Chandresh Bhushan, who is supervising the investigation into the scam said that the number of deaths linked to the scam was abnormal. He, however said that there was no reason to believe that the deaths caused were suspicious or were a part of a cover-up in the case. The family members also state that the death was normal as he was suffering from Hepatitis B.

Approximately 2,000 people have been arrested since 2013, most of them having paid bribes for government jobs and seats.
