'Vote against E Palanisamy', Panneerselvam appeals to AIADMK MLAs
Panneerselvam urged MLAs to vote against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami in trust vote to safeguard Jayalalithaa's interests.
Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam on Friday appealed to AIADMK MLAs to vote against Edappadi Palanisami during the vote of confidence in the star assembly. Panneerselvam said that MLAs should safeguard Jayalalithaa's ideals by not extending support to Palanisamy.

"Amma continuously worked to ensure that family politics does not enter Tamil Nadu political circles. She worked to achieve this till her last breath. I request all the MLAs to first be a loyal soldiers of Amma, and think independently before voting," Panneerselvam appealed.
He asked MLAs not to buckle under pressure and be true to their conscience while casting their vote. O Panneerselvam also claimed rights over the party's two-leaf symbol. He also hailed Mylapore MLA Natraj's decision to vote against Palanisamy and thanked him for his support.
Despite the stiff opposition by people and rebel AIADMK leaders alike, Palanisamy is expected to get a comfortable majority in the vote of confidence on Saturday.
