Vistara flight UK17, scheduled for October 18, 2024, encountered a security threat via social media. Following protocol, authorities were promptly notified, and the pilots chose to divert the flight to Frankfurt as a precautionary measure. An insider revealed that the threat involved a bomb.

In a related incident, Akasa Air's flight QP 1366 from Bengaluru to Mumbai faced a security alert just before takeoff on Friday.
