Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale gets Vishnudas Bhave Award
Sangli (Maha) Nov 5: Famous film, television and stage actor Vikram Gokhale (67) was today felicitated with the prestigious Vishnudas Bhave Award.
The award was given to him at a ceremony here on the eve of 'Marathi Rangbhumi Din'. Gokhle has been honored for his outstanding contribution to Marathi theater.
Prominent actress-singer Faiyaz Shaikh presented the award to him. Dr Sharad Karale, president of Akhil Maharashtra Natya Vidya Mandir Samiti, Sangli, was also present on the stage. The annual award was instituted by Sangli-based Akhil Maharashtra Natya Vidya Mandir in memory of pioneer Marathi dramatist Vishnudas Bhave.
