Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Coaches - Check Out The Pictures!

The first look of the Vande Bharat sleeper coach train, set to be launched by February 2024, has been revealed! Indian Railways is crafting this sleeper train with a fresh and innovative design.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared captivating prototype images of the highly-anticipated sleeper coaches for the Vande Bharat Express, a collaborative effort between the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).

While showcasing these concept images for the domestically manufactured semi-high-speed train's sleeper coaches, Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the sleeper versions of the Vande Bharat Express are set to be introduced in early 2024.

According to a recent report from news agency ANI, citing inside sources, the newly designed sleeper coaches for the Vande Bharat Express are scheduled to be rolled out by February 2024.

The images unveiled by Ashwini Vaishnaw offer a glimpse of a transformed rail travel experience, featuring cutting-edge interiors and amenities.

The concept sleeper coaches showcase a timeless wooden design and more comfortable seating arrangements. These coaches are also equipped with ambient floor lighting and enhanced overhead lighting.

The inaugural Vande Bharat Express, flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2019, initially operated between New Delhi and Varanasi, offering a premium train service.

It is anticipated that the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express will complement the existing fleet of premium trains.

Last month, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated nine Vande Bharat trains, incorporating various improvements based on passenger feedback to enhance the overall travel experience. These enhancements range from adjustments in seat reclining angles to the inclusion of deep washbasins to prevent water splashing, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail by the coach manufacturers.
