Uttarakhand Chopper Crash: Pilot & 5 Others Killed, 1 Injured
Six people have been killed in a chopper crash in the Gangani area of Uttarakhand on Thursday.
The helicopter was on its way to Yamunotri Dham at around 8.50 am when it plunged into a deep gorge. The chopper was operated by a private company.

What The Authorities Say About Chopper Crash?
"The helicopter, bearing registration number VT-OXF, was carrying seven individuals, including the pilot, identified as Captain Robin Singh, and six passengers. It was coming from Yamunotri Dham. Upon receiving the alert, teams from the State Disaster Response," Manoj Aswal, in charge Maneri police station said.
The Force (SDRF) and local police arrived the site and started search and rescue operation, Aswal added. He claimed that the chopper was found in a gorge approximately 200 to 250 meters deep.One person has been injured in the incident and person has been air lifted for treatment to AIIMS Rishikesh.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushla Singh Dhami's First Reaction To Helicopter Crash
On the helicopter crash in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami says, "SDRF and district administration teams have immediately reached the spot for relief and rescue work. I have instructed the administration to provide all possible help to the injured and investigate the accident."
