Maurya said the robotic machines can clean sewers in a 360-degree manner. The process does not require any person to enter the sewer. Maurya added that skid loaders and backhoe loaders would support desilting of drains. The machines would also help strengthen solid waste management operations.
Mobile eye care van in Bareilly division launched with new services
Adityanath also inaugurated a mobile eye care van run by Deep Charitable Trust, Bareilly. The Uttar Pradesh government statement said the van would help reach people living in remote areas. The launch came alongside the sanitation flag-off and the PWD review, which both focused on planned public services and works.
